HELLO I'M MEG

I'm an
Artist, Rebel , Dream Weaver — and a woman rewriting her life one colour story at a time
Hi, I’m Meg — a surface pattern designer, ex–public health nurse practitioner, creative late bloomer, and salty soul from Yallingup, now living on the Sunshine Coast.
For over two decades, I worked in emergency healthcare across Australia and around the world — showing up for people on their hardest days. Somewhere along the way, like so many women in midlife, I forgot that I mattered too.
Burnout hit. Perimenopause arrived. My nervous system waved the white flag. So I stepped away from public healthcare and created space to breathe again — while keeping a private gig that supports me as I build this new chapter.
Now I create hand‑illustrated designs for linen, fabric, and homewares that honour the wild beauty of reinvention. Colour, soul, honesty, and a little bit of spunk — pieces that make your space feel like you again, whether you live in a house, a van, or somewhere in between.
Alongside Nomads Palette, I created My Theory — a slow‑living journal where I share the messy, beautiful parts of rebuilding a life. Recipes, home projects, salty reflections, and everyday rituals that make life feel warm again. Creativity meets healing, truth meets cheekiness.
This brand isn’t just about beautiful things. It’s about remembering yourself.
I Believe In
-
Creating things that make your heart sing
-
Bedrooms that feel sacred, sexy, and restful
-
Designing for truth, not trends
-
Lifting up women walking through change
-
Going slow — because good things take time
-
Choosing eco over ego
-
Compostable over disposable — simple ways to give back
I try to live (and create) as eco‑consciously as I can — not perfectly, but thoughtfully. Sustainability should feel beautiful, empowering, and do‑able. Use it, love it, bury it.
Every design I create is rooted in that same philosophy — thoughtful, soulful, and made to be lived with.
A Note for Fellow Human
If you’re in the thick of change — burned out, reinventing, healing — I see you. I’m walking that same path, sharing my story through creativity, reflection, and honest storytelling.
You’re not alone. You matter. And your next chapter might just be your boldest yet.
